- Education: Bachelor's degree (any discipline) with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA. 45% for SC/ST/PwD. Final-year candidates may apply with provisional certificates.

Detailed selection process — what to expect at each stage
01
Stage 1: CAT 2025 sectional + overall cutoff
CAT 2025 score is checked against sectional (70 in each section) and overall cutoff (General: 82 percentile, EWS/NC-OBC: 72, SC: 50, ST/PwD: 40). Only candidates clearing both gates move forward.

Stage 2: Application + profile screening
Eligible candidates apply through the IIM Visakhapatnam portal with the Rs 2,600 application fee (Rs 1,300 for SC/ST/PwD). Past academic performance (10th, 12th, UG marks) and work experience are factored into the shortlist along with the CAT score.

Stage 3: WAT + Personal Interview
Shortlisted candidates are called for the Written Ability Test (WAT) followed by a Personal Interview (PI). The interview probes career goals, profile fit, and conceptual clarity.

Stage 4: Final composite score + offers
A composite score combining CAT, WAT, PI, past academic performance and work experience is used to generate category-wise merit lists. Provisional offers are released to candidates with the highest composite scores.
