IIM Rohtak's process is different: gender diversity scoring adds 5-7 effective points at the shortlisting stage, and the institute does not publish rigid sectional minimums it enforces uniformly. A female candidate scoring 92 overall with, say, 60 in QA clears a bar that would disqualify most male peers. Placements and Payback

At ₹18 LPA average and ₹16 L total fees, IIM Rohtak's payback period is roughly 2.5 years, which is reasonable. Named recruiters include HUL, P&G, Amazon, Flipkart, Accenture Strategy, Deloitte, and several BFSI firms. You will not see McKinsey or Goldman Sachs on the Day 0 list, so calibrate expectations honestly. This is a solid Tier 2 outcome, not an IIM A/B/C outcome.

The Honest Limitation

Gender-based flexibility does not mean an unconditional pass. Extremely low sectional scores, say below 50 percentile in a section, create real risk even at Rohtak.

The institute still evaluates WAT-PI performance, academic profile, and work experience. Female candidates with weak QA sectionals should use the extra time before PI to patch concept gaps, not just bank on diversity points.
