CAT year accepted: 2025
Work experience: Not mandatory. Peaks at 10 marks for 24-36 months in the profile score.

Detailed selection process — what to expect at each stage
01
Stage 1 — CAT 2025 eligibility
Valid CAT 2025 scorecard above the sectional and overall cutoffs for your category. Bachelor's degree minimum aggregate per IIM norms.

Stage 2 — CAP 2026 EOI
IIM Jammu is the convener of CAP 2026, joint with IIM Bodh Gaya and IIM Sirmaur. Submit Expression of Interest at CAP Stage I.
03
Stage 3 — CAP Stage II PI
Pay PI fee, choose interview slot. Personal Interview by faculty and external experts. Profile score (academics + work-ex + diversity) finalised at this stage.
04
Stage 4 — Merit list
Final score = 42% CAT + 30% PI + 28% Profile. IIM Jammu publishes its merit list and waitlist movement throughout the cycle.
