Who can apply
Bachelor's degree: 50% aggregate (45% for SC/ST/PwD) in any discipline from a recognised university
CAT year accepted: 2025
Work experience: Only relevant post-graduation work-ex counts. Internships, articleship, unpaid work, and cash/UPI-only salary periods are excluded. Proprietors must submit registration, GST, ITR and PAN documents.
Age limit: No upper age limit
Detailed selection process — what to expect at each stage

Stage 1 — CAT 2025 Shortlisting
All candidates with a valid CAT 2025 score who selected IIM Sambalpur and meet the minimum category percentile cutoffs (and have positive scaled scores in all sections) move forward.

Stage 2 — Pre-PI Score Computation
A Pre-PI Score out of 75 is calculated: CAT 40, Class X 3, Class XII 3, Graduation 4, Work Experience 20, Gender Diversity 5. Shortlisted candidates receive a January 2026 email to complete the online application form.

Stage 3 — Personal Interview
PI is conducted online or hybrid. PI score (25 marks) is added to the Stage 2 components to produce the final merit score out of 100. Failure to attend the PI disqualifies the candidate.
04
Stage 4 — Final Merit List
Offers made strictly by final-merit-score rank in each category. Offer acceptance fee ₹50,000 (adjusted into Term-I course fee).
