Bachelor's degree: 50% aggregate in any 3-year UG degree
CAT year accepted: 2025
Work experience: Not mandatory. Counted in the final composite.
Age limit: No upper age limit
Detailed selection process — what to expect at each stage
01
Stage 1 — Application + test eligibility
Apply by 28 November 2025 (5:00 PM deadline) with a valid CAT 2025, XAT 2026 or GMAT score. Minimum 50% UG aggregate.
02
Stage 2 — Composite shortlist for WAT + PI
Shortlist using your highest accepted exam score, past academics, work experience and diversity factors.
03
Stage 3 — Written Ability Test + Personal Interview
WAT essay and PI by faculty and external experts.
04
Stage 4 — Final merit and waitlist
Final score combines all components. Independent merit lists for PGDM, PGDM-HRM, PGDM-IB and PGDM-Business Analytics.
MDI Murshidabad scholarships — published categories
North-East Freeship (100% Tuition Waiver)
5 awards each year. Total value ~₹8.92 L over 2 years. Eligibility: NE domicile, Class X + XII from NE with ≥50%, 3-year UG ≥50%, parental income ≤₹8 L/year. Allocation: 3 female + 2 male. Selection by CAT percentile after first 30 days of Term I. Tie-break: Class XII %.
North-East Scholarship (20-30% Tuition Waiver)
10 awards each year. Scales with CGPA: 7.0-8.5 CGPA → ₹10,600/month (25%); >8.5 CGPA → ₹12,750/month (30%). Lapses if CGPA falls below 6.0. Base eligibility: same as NE Freeship.
