VGSoM IIT Kharagpur uses a two-stage admission process for the 2026-28 batch. Stage 1: shortlist for in-person WAT-PI (Written Aptitude Test + Personal Interview) based on CAT 2025 percentile + Application Rating + Gender Diversity Factor. Stage 2: final selection via combined score — 20% AR + 40% CAT scaled (VARC 20 + DILR 10 + QA 10) + 40% WAT-PI + GDF +10 marks for female applicants. Notable: VGSoM has restrictive eligibility — only 4-year B.Tech/BE/B.Pharma OR Master's in Sci/Econ/Commerce (with Maths/Stats at UG) qualify.
