From those with direct campus recruitment exposure, the perspective we've heard repeatedly is that T2 front-end pre-MBA experience is rare but genuinely valuable — if you have the opportunity, take it. T1 back-end analyst roles do prepare you well as a culture fit, but T2 front-end carries more weight on your CV when recruiters are evaluating you.
