How to prepare for B-school interviews and manage anxiety?
B-school interviews at IIM Ahmedabad (average salary ₹35.22 LPA), IIM Bangalore (₹34.88 LPA), and IIM Calcutta (₹34.23 LPA) reward one thing above all: knowing your own story cold. Prepare a 2-minute structured pitch that covers three things: what your current role cannot give you, the exact skills an MBA builds, and why this specific IIM helps (PGP curriculum design, alumni depth in your target sector, city location). Generic answers like "I want leadership exposure" fail at all three campuses.
If you are targeting consulting roles at McKinsey, BCG, or Bain, name it and connect it to the program's case competition ecosystem or alumni network.
